In order to place bids in any of our auctions some things are required
- Email Must Be Verified. After registering your account an email will be sent with a verification link.
- Credit card added to account. A credit card must be on file to bid, we do not use this for automatic payment. In order to verify the credit card the system will do a pre-authorization for $1USD
- Ensure all account details are filled in. If any fields are missing the website will prompt you to complete
Bidding
Active bidding
- You can bid actively the next available increment by clicking the place bid button and confirming your bid
Max Bid
- Set your max bid and let the computer bid for you.
Regular bid
- Want to jump the bid to a higher number. Place a regular bid. Whatever number you place as a bid, the bidding will immediately jump to it.
Bidding Color Code
When Placing Bids On YACAUCTIONS.COM there is a clear and identifiable color code associated with your bid status. The colors are as follows
- Yellow - A yellow bid button means that you have had no activity with this lot.
- Green - A green bid button means that you are currently the leading bidder
- Red - A red bid button means that you have been outbid by another bidder
These color changes are near instant and update in real time. To be certain you are seeing the most current info it is best that you manually refresh your page.
