Yorkton Auction Centre holds regular monthly consignment auctions. These sales usually see a wide variety of items and typically 1000+ lots. Consignments are welcome by anyone, however we do have some restrictions of what items can and can not be sold.
Consignment Process
Schedule Your Consignment
The first step in consigning your items is to call our team to declare your items for auction and schedule a drop-off time. Give a description or overview on what kind of items and quantity of items you are looking to sell. This ensures a smooth intake process and allows our staff to prepare for your arrival.
Prepare Your Item List
Before dropping off your items, you will need to prepare a detailed list of each lot going to auction. This helps streamline the inventory and cataloging process.
Drop Off Your Items
On your scheduled drop-off date, visit Yorkton Auction Centre’s front office with your item list. Our staff will assist you with the intake process to ensure accuracy.
Inventory & Labeling
Our team will carefully inventory your items, record details about their condition, and provide identification stickers for each lot.
Unloading & Auction Preparation
Yorkton Auction Centre staff will help unload your items and ensure everything is labeled correctly. Once your equipment is received, our auction team will proceed with cataloging and photographing your items to prepare them for the auction listing.
Auction Completion & Payment
Once the auction is complete, commission fees are deducted from the sale amount, and payments are processed via direct deposit within 14 business days.
What does it cost?
Commission rates vary depending on the items being sold and the value of said items.
